Enough is enough

Emotional stress not only comes from daily life and disagreements with loved ones. It can also come from lack of organization no matter what the room.

I have been noticing that when my own room even if all I did was make the bed. I feel less emotional then if my bed was strew all about the room or blankets just piled on top of the bed.

In today's blog and during the day I am focusing on emotional stress caused from my kids' room being a big cluttered mess. This clutter is not caused by too many toys or that the room does not get picked up.

This their clutter is merely caused from having to store their outdoor and indoor toys all in their small room that has absolutely no storage other then the 1 shelf in their closet, 3 small corner shelfs I installed a few years ago when we moved in, and their dresser which is not very wide and mainly used for their T.V.

So with all the clutter of their big toys and no way to really properly store any of their toys for easy view, I decided a few months ago that any cash I came across I would put aside in an envelope for the sole purpose of getting more storage for their room. The best best way I have found for our situation is wall track shelving and real wood shelves ( I do NOT trust particle board shelves for my kids especially with them being low shelving areas.

Now since this is not my room per say you are probably wondering why I would be emotionally stressed over this. Well the reason being is that I still have 1 of my 2 loves in a crib and well tripping over toys that should easily be out of the way tends to get me emotional especially when I have my 17 mo old in my arms where I automatically have less balance then if I were to be empty handed.

I will post before and after transformations when I find my camera and project is complete. (I already have before pictures)

well I guess that is all for now folks look back soon for those before and afters!
